Asia Bloodworth aka ASIATHABIRD is a nail artist, illustrator and podcaster from the Washington DC Metropolitian Area. She is a SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) 2019 graduate, earning a BFA in Illustration and a minor in Fibers.
Her nail art has been featured in the beauty industry’s top nail magazines such as Nail Pro and Nails Magazine at the age of 15 years old. She is also an Nail Competition medalist, winning 3rd place as novice in Division 1 in Flat Art for Nailympia Online 2021. She was featured as NailPro Magazine’s 30 under 30 in 2023. She is the first nail artist to have her own nail art displayed at the O Mansion in Washington DC 2024. ASIATHABIRD has her own podcast called Nails and Beauty Talk with over 400 episodes, where she interviews experts from around the world, covering topics such as beauty, art, fashion and tech. She has interviewed people such as Award Winning Nail Artist Sam Biddle, Nails Next Top Nail Artist Winner Lavette Cephus, NFT Surreal Artist Mark Inducil, Book Illustrator Rashad Malik Davis and CND Co Founder Jan Arnold. She is also a nail judge for Nail Nation VA, DMV’s annual nail tech battle competition.
